i got hypnotised couple nights ago by a reality tv show. (xcuse bad punctuation, no caps etc, am in a hurry). Survivor !
one contestant wins a challenge. given a choice about her prize. a $70000 4wd. other issues involved, - but - main point. she could take it, or gift the four other contestants the same vehicle, one each, & miss out on getting one herself.
she took the jeep.
personally, i think gifting those other people would have come back to her 10 fold sooner or later, in some way or another. a very hard call to make, but an obvious one i think if you had a conscience.
what would you do ??

It's a free world. I enjoy watching TV (Sometimes even the bad stuff), & drinking beer (especially at the same time).
There, I'm out of the closet.
Don't tell me you hav'nt done the same.

Drinking beer definitely makes watching TV even more enjoyable, even crappy shows like Survivor (in which case it almost makes it bearable).

Take the one for myself and sell it.

I'm with Ty,

As the "competition" on Survivor programs ends up being all about me me me. Nobody in those shows gives a rat’s ass about anyone else - and it's no more obvious than in the American versions of the show.

Take it - sell it. But a round the world plane ticket for me and anyone else who wants to do a climbing road trip – give some to charity and the rest to my student loan!

IMHO of course.

Rich Morgan there is a conflict between those who are enlightened, and concerned with goals that supersede the life-span of a single individual, and those who only grasp the obvious, and focus on superficial, material pursuit
