Wanted: light crampons and ice-axe

Hi everyone,
I would like to find some light crampons (for mid-soft boots) and an ice-axe, even old and worn (but not broken), for classic alpine routes.
I'm currently around Chch. but I'm moving a lot.

I tried trademe, sella, gumtree etc but nothing, if you have a nice idea, a 2nd hand shop for example.

you could also try ski and sport centre in taranaki. they sell CAMP gear i think you should be be able to get basic crampons for less that 150 and ice axe for less than 100. They do mail order but have no website so you will have to give them a call to find out what they have.

It might also be worth giving small planet in queenstown a call to see what they have. sometimes they have some good deals. http://www.smallplanetsports.co.nz/ they have alot more stuff than what is up on the website.
