A couple of existing lines have been cleaned up (so far) on Swamp Wall, Wharepapa South (Castle Rock) that may be worth a look at on your way in or out. The rest of the wall is moss city.
Near the left end of the wall, the arete to the right of the 3 small caves is Welcome (19) 4 bolts 12m.
At the far right end heading into the next valley, the first climb on the left is First Cut (18 ) 3 bolts 12m.
3 more existing routes have been cleaned on this wall.
The black wall 10m to the right of the 3 caves has the start of Angst (18). This goes up to the grassy ledge then across right and up the headwall following the bolts. 8 bolts 16m. Jetzt Oder Nie (21) starts the same and from the ledge follows the crack using wires.
Following the cliffs 20m to the right, come to a big block.To the right of this is an 18,unknown name 6 bolts 15m. Follows a thin crack.
Next to this is Cruel Shoes (20) 5 bolts 15m. Goes up thru the scoop to the arete at the top.
At the far right end before going up the gully another 18, Counting The days is a thin face climb with 4 bolts.
