pioneer hut left untidy

hey guys,
Just a quick note. I just flew out of Pioneer hut about 4 days ago. We were stuck in the hut for 11 days as we thought we could wait out the bad weather (apparently this was a really bad idea). Anyway, it unexpectantly cleared up and we flew out in a very short weather window. We didn't have time to clean the hut to a level that I would expect and for this I want to apologise. Honestly, I hate doing this and just hope that the next group up there understand...

It has happened to us all - when we had a similar situation one winter years ago we left a considerable amount of food behind along with the considerable amount that had been left by the Army before us !! Including a bit tureen fresh of pumpkin soup
