I am studying abroad at Otago University this coming semester (july-november) and am looking to do lots of climbing.  I am a AMGA certified SPI climbing guide in US and climbed quite a bit in America and Canada, of which I am citizen.

there are a bunch of keen people around Dunedin - look on the Facebook site Dunedin Climbing - run by long time activist Calum Hudson - he will be able o point you in the right direction or at some solid people eg Steve Carr, Jonathon Clearwater Dave Brasch  etc

Thank you! Also, I can only bring limited amount of gear.  Should I bring sport rack and ice gear, in hopes of finding people who want to do some trad/ ice climbing?
