As I am sure everyone has noticed, the look and feel of the MojoZone forum has changed a bit.

...but happily, it has remained fairly familiar, for the most part...

I have noticed a couple of things that have "gone missing" though:

1) Quoted text is no longer highlighted, and there is no way to create a reply with the quoted text automatically included.

I like the slight indent of the reply post though (at least the first 2 or 3, after that, it might get a bit narrow).

2) the visual separation of signatures is missing. I keep reading old sigs as part of the post.....

Ditto with the sig thing, i think we should get a line divide or scrap them

Thanks for the feedback Gabe. I should be able to get quoting working soonish, and I've also noted visual separation of the sig.

Wonder if we could have some more colour brightness in the little symbols on left that are for each section of the forum and show new posts (perhaps a red star?)

maybe I'm missing something..but it always shows 1 new message on general even though I've seen them all.

I agree about forum page being washed out and boring looking..but it works which is the main thing

As mentioned elsewhere on this forum... i find it annoying that new posts don't automatically sit at the end of a thread. All those branches can make it hard to keep track of the discussion, which should be linear in my humble opinion!

TEST.....

Maybe somebody has said this already but the new post does end up on the bottom unless you press reply (next to quote) to the specific message. I will attempt to prove it by trying my example.

Yes, that does seem to be the situation as illustrated.

That seems to work fine, too.

Jonathon, you could eliminate the discontinuity (good route name) by eliminating the reply button from under each thread and just let the "Post new comment" do the job rather than have a separte "Reply to comment."

I think it should say "Post" rather than "Save"
