While the snow might not be great the ice is apparently okay thanks to the snowmakers. This was on Saturday afternoon 13/8/11

Can you please provide more information about how you climbed this route..
What boots and what type of crampons did you use on it? It looks too steep for my old generation tools to climb.

Interesting you say that Peter sinc the tools in the picture appear to be Simond Chacals and I am sure the crampons are semi rigid (since I know the climbers)
In this case they set up a TR off the Bungy tower

I think it helps having climbers on Patrol (eg Rob Dunn) annd snow makers who climb. What is needed is a web cam onto the 3 routes that people climb on the buttresses.
