My work recently transfered me out to San Francisco, California. Been here for just over 2 months now ..... and haven't climbed at all!
I was wondering if anyone here has climbed out in this part of the world? I would like to visit the Buttermilks at Bishop and I know of a few other places, hell even the indoor gyms in San Francisco are pretty good from what I've seen.
Any feedback on places to visit would be great. It's about time to get my fat ass off the ground and onto some rock!

Hmmm...where to start?

Joshua Tree
Suicide Rock
Tahquitz
Yosemite (the one and only...)
Tuolumne

All good, all worth it.

Lovers Leap fully rates. Free camping, cool scene, LOTs of low-mid grade routes (5.6-5.12).

It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.

Hey Carl! Hows it going man?

You'd better get that fat ass up some rock while you still can hahaha. It would be a shame not to check out the climbing while you are there.

I know I know, currently too many pubs and clubs.
I even have a lovely pair of 5.10 Galileo's .... just looking pretty in my room, artistically arranged as if they had been used.

I am going to go climbing tho, even if it is indoors .... check out this place

By the way cheers for all your responses!

About those shoes.... I know they are "new" but

How is the comfort on them compared to the good old Anasazi (arrggghhh) Velcro?

Dude I love them! The 2 whole times I've used them (at least 5 hours each time) they rocked. Nice sticky rubber, they felt real good.
