Harry Potter...?
Ok- i know that this has nothing to do with climbing etc etc but was just curious about who has read the new Harry Potter book (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and what are everyones thoughts on it?
But...please don't actually state what happens because that just ruins it for everyone and I know that I hate it when that happens
So...any comments are welcome :D
Personally I think it was ok but not as good as the others. Good ideas but could have been written better.
i'll read it on the same day that i buy a simple plan cd for myself.
i have however resd all the others and seen the movies.
how old are you?
Jack you should know that you shouldn't give out personal details over the internet... Especially a wide open forum...
thanks for keeping me straight heidi, but it's for people to decide whether they want to or not. i dont think age realy counts as personal info anyway. btw i strugled up a 22 in the w/e and nailed it first shot. yay me lol
the harry potter series would have to be one of the best series i have read.
i read a fair few books from a very wide range and the only 3 authors that make me sit and read the book until i finish is JK Rowlings, Tom Clancy and John Grisham. i used to swear i'd never read harry potter because it sounded gay and who would want to read about wizards and witches. Now after the series has been out and reading the first one i must of read those books at least four times each if not more however i have not read the latest one yet so don't anybody ruin it for me. and there are a lot of pagres in those books!!!!
and there is nothing wrong wit a 19 year old male reading books about wizards and witches i happen to like hogwarts and flying cars and burning pheonixs
cough cough
alacazam
however i do agree that simple plan is gay
easpecially with that stupid nassally voice going on about how he's not perfect and he's sorry or some shite
goodness jim morrison (the greatest sonwriter/poet to have ever lived) has more talent in his little finger than the entire band has period
do you think they write their own music??
What crag was that at?
I think he means the one near the corner, just to the left of the yellow 18.
yea. nearly there rob. it was actually the yellow one in the corner to the left of the two blue ones.
at the Y? if yes, very sweet route!
actually, all of the 22s at the Y I have tried so far have been really good.
(though the 22 I just did at the Roxx was really good too... )
Yeah well there's a V6 at the uni gym that I onsighted last night so yeah man pretty stoked ay. But sounds like I'd better move to Chch asap to visit all these cool indoor walls you've got. Do you need to climb at a certain grade to be allowed in there?
Yeah, I think 13 is minimum :D
Yeah our holds are sooooo much coooler than your Auckland ones. And the colours is prettier too.
wasn't this a harry potter thread????
by the way i just finished it
9 hours it took me
i did it in two sittings
was an outstanding book the best so far
made think you were wrong when you were right (can't go into any more detail or i'll ruin the magic for everyone)
brilliant however if you have never read harry potter before don't start at this one as it makes it so much better when you know the background
in fact i think i'll start back at book one again
mmmmmmmm
Accio wand!!!
screw actually reading it. i'll just ask gf what happened
Man you must be busy at work Liam to only take two sittings to read it.
li@m: do i know you?
i don't know jack, do you????
only you can answer that question
try and guess who you think i am then i'll let you know if you are right or not
and no i'm not busy at work its gay
i'm getting poorer by the minute
maybe i'll do something one day
only you can answer that question
try and guess who you think i am then i'll let you know if you are right or not
no. got confused with someone else.
dude i just finished harry potter and like, WTF!
okay. liam, when i get to the bay we have to have a major harry potter conspiracy theory conversation.
i've read 4 books since i got to wellington. why is it too f*cking windy to climb?

I have never read any of the books or seen any of the movies, nor do I have a great desire to do so.
