for those of us not away climbing for new years

Mojozone is quite, hoards of people have left the luxury of their homes and ventured to places such as the Bay or Paynes to climb and get pissed on the biggist party of the year, but lo there are those of us to unfortunate to be away climbing over this holiday for one reason or another so what are we all doing i hear someone ask? personally i cant go away as im going to have to be in waiouru at on the 1st of january to start military officer trainning, fair excuse i must say, so ill be chillin with my old man having a few quiets on new years (but really new years is just like every other saturday night right!) so whats YOUR excuse and what are YOU doing?

well i'm going to have band practice all night, but were probably going to finish at 10 (because 5 hours is a long time to stay in a sound-proof room with 500w of guitar amps and drums) and spend an hour beating the shit out of each other (we do it every week with proper rules, ref and gloves), then drink a bit till the calendar ticks over. as rusta says, the usual sat night. btw i wish you well in the army

The company I work for doesn't understand time off... :(
But will be heading for a beach as soon as I can leave work... the best place for New Years celebrations (when you're not at Paynes!).

no i wont be climbing either. BUT I WILL BE GROOVING TO SOME SERIOUSLY GOOD QUALITY SKANKING FAT BEATS AT RYTHYM & VINES IN GIZZY !!!
(maybe squeeze in cpl routes at the mount on the way home.)

i will be milking my cows so everyone else here can get away. i think i am to soft and should take some time off instead. well more than an afternoon, would love to string 3 maybe even 4 days off in a row, ah what am i thinking must be a lack off sleep, slowly going insane
