First aid kits- what have you actually used from yours

Here's what I've actually used over 20 years- what else is common and worth keeping in the kit?

 

 

Duct tape- to patch clothing

Wound closure strips

Cleaning wipes

blister Pads

Climbing tape- Good for climbing and stopss rubbing in mountain boots

Emergency glucose- too tired to eat

Zip lock bag

Anti histaine

Anti infalamatories

Saline

Tweezers

Non stick pad/cover

I've used clothes to Stop bleeding and to keep people warm

hmmm... panadol, gauze, strapping (rolled ankles etc), cotton buds, antiseptic cream... I'm sure there's more?

Climbing tape, neurofen, saline eye wash; that's all I've ever actually used.

I also used the white holey stick on tape( like physios use under strapping) for mountain bike grazes.

Vitamin and amino tablets, No-Doz caffiene pills, codeine, paracetamol, voltaren (not all at the same time), bootlaces, and of course elastoplast dressings and elastoplast strapping tape. I've also carried and used a thin piece of closed cell foam to protect shins from plastic boot chafing. 

I don't carry bandages any more.
