Anyone know how to tape to support medial epicondylitis (tennis elbow)? Anyone out there had elbow injuries - any tips on recovery, stretches, etc and how to avoid them in the first place.

I've got it at the moment. On the inside of my elbow although I think you can get it on the outside. Rest is the main cure but here are some links you might find interesting

The first link briefly mentions taping and strapping

Let me know if you find any more info.

the book 'one move too many' which can be ordered through any Petzl seller has great info on stretching, prevention, straping and rehab.
i have lent my copy out to an injured friend but will let you know some more when I get it back.
The exercises in this (along with massage and ice and a really good chiropractor) have helped me to get over and prevent the reoccurence of a shoulder injury i had. I totally recommend it.
It is written by climbers so really specific to the injuries we get.

though not specific to elbows, my most recent shoulder injury (grade 2 separation) made really good progress with twice daily icing for 15 minutes. this was months after the separation, so i was sceptical, but it really made a big difference and fast too.

rest and ice beat strapping. in the long term anyway

ONE MOVE TOO MANY Has too much info to put on here(3 pages on different elbow overuse conditions-THERE ARE 2 COMMON KINDS OF ELBOW INJURY EACH WITH DIFFERENT TAPING-, 2 pages on taping, and a general rehab chapter.)
Do not use when painful!-Rest, Ice 5-10 mins, massage,(to speed recovery) build up with exercises and stretches and in time return to climbing GENTLY!
