Cragging near(ish) to Auckland this weekend 10/11 Dec

I am arriving in Auckland on Thursday and plan to be in New Zealand (somewhere...undecided as yet) for most of the next year. I would love to get out on rock ASAP, so if anyone is going to a crag this weekend in vaguely easy reach* of Auckland and wouldn't mind an extra in the climbing party, please get in touch. I have a full sport rack (unless customs take it off me for cleaning) and am working routes around the early 20s...I think!
* I'm happy to include Hamilton area in this...or if there's space in a car, I'm open to suggestions!
I'm looking forward to a season of Kiwi climbing :o)

Also bear in mind the Mt Eden quarry long side has now reopened right smack in the midle of AK ... not really a sport crag but there are bolts on some routes and you can generally expect someone will have a top rope up on something. I'm sure I and others will be down there this weekend sometime if the weather isn't total shite. Note: online registration and helmet are required.
Hey Jen. Join the FB group for 'The Project' bouldering gym in Auckland and come out to climb. You'll be able to find lots of people there who are keen and going away a lot. There will be bunch out there on Thursday night as they're showing a movie from 9pm.
