I'm living in timaru at the mo (hanging rock, mnt horrable, spur rd,) and think the climbs are premo!! but theres only 5 consistant climbers in this town and if there are eny others drop me a line coz being a newbe I need to mix it up a bit to broaden my tech, style and experances bla bla.

Welcome to MojoZone! I am glad you figured out how to turn off the caps-lock

I don't think I will be making down your way before I leave the country, but if you happen to be up around Chch in the next few weeks, I would be happy to show you around a bit of the Bank Peninsula.
Minor epics to be had.......

Hey, if it weren't for you young-ins (you are young...right!?), we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves online.

Not to mention, if you actually could/can climb well (if you can't now, you will be able to soon), it is the only way for the old folk to feel superior

(I am going to get into sooo much trouble for this......it's the beer talking, I swear!)

I assume you mean Steinbeck...
Yeah, it has it's place, but not in the online world of the climbing community. Just my 2c, but I think many will agree.

Chaucer wrote in an "interesting" fashion as well, but I would find his style in a climbing forum post a bit more challenging than I could normally deal with (I surf at work, to um.....relax....)

Good! That is how we all started out........and some have come close to achieving it.
I'm a sell out though, total lazy computer geek, so don't model yourself after me!

On a more serious note...have you been helping with the development of the 'urban' crag?
You need to learn the ropes (only a small pun intended) so you guys can head back Raincliff way....
I think someone up Chch way has his eye on that crag as well.

You definitely should. I didn't manage to get down to those climbs the last time I was down there, but they sounded pretty intriguing.
