Broken Ankle

I broke my ankle two years ago and it still haunts me today.
It was mis-diagnosed from the day I was sent to A & E. Broken from the start but the cracks didn't show up in the X-Rays because of the angle.
6 months later, I was still in immense pain and I had anti-inflammation shots to suppress the "inflammation" (another mis-diagnosis).
10 months on, I couldn't take it anymore so I insisted on a more thorough check-up and they gave me an MRI, which revealed the grim truth that it was still broken but "almost healed".
I've been through months of physio, accupuncture and massage. You may still see me rockclimbing at the gym today but till this day, I am always sore and stiff in the ankle.
I am determined to make it better but its just really frustrating.
I massage my foot twice a week and give it a hot water bath every day.
Ok thanks for listening to me grumble.

bummer dude. A friend of mine recently discovered she had broken her back in 3 places after taking a 5m crater 6 months previously. (she's ok BTW). Despite insisting multiple times on an xray she never got one until her back pain was unbearable and she finally got one and wadda ya know 3 cracked vertibrae. Just goes to show that you know your body better than a doctor and if you aint getting better dont leave their office until you get satisfaction.
