Generally you get lowered down  (tied off Italian Hitch with a back up)

You may also want two ropes for redundancy

ATC works aswell i have done it with that but i find italian hitches just super easy. Depending on the height of the jump you may have to jumar/prussic up.

Beautiful climbing is rarely on beautiful holds

First I would highly reccommend going with someone who is experienced in bridgeswinging. And in reguards to the uk link, it is not great advice. New ropes or ones that haven't taken wippers will stretch alot more than old well used ropes. You will want to allow for alot more than 10% stretch and 5m clearance! It's alot better to have several small swings, gradually increasing the length than thinking you've got the length perfect and have you or a friend hitting the ground! I personally always jump first just incase I screwed up. Better to kill yourself than watch someone else die!

and don't forget the most important thing........

a camera :)
