Man forums in Mojozone suck these days. Where's the controversy????
Where's the arguements? Where's the interesting reading? Where's Jack?????????

Are people afraid to speak their minds? Or are people actually climbing? no I don't believe it. Is it just bad weather in Wellington, is it just that I have no life now that hang dog boulder room is closed and it's raining outside.

If you are climbing, tell us about it the only new forum posts these days are people looking for someone to climb with from overseas. I went to Froggatt last week the day my exams finished and it was awesome, perfect weather, great all day climbing in the sun, (except when it got way too hot). There was nobody there!!!!

Well the thunders gone here might be a good day at 'the rak' tomorrow, whats the Christchurch scene like? Auckland? anybody?

Please start using your over analytical minds that I have seen before and start picking apart who I am as a person because at least it will be interesting. But most importantly

No, I wouldn't necessarily say afraid, but Rowan made it very clear that he wasn't going to stand for any more 'Jack' (not just the user) on the Mojo forums.
I agree that things are a bit dull without the random bickering and drivel, but we are probably just going through a bit of a slow time right now. The comments will come if the thread is interesting enough.
Maybe a trip report section on the forum isn't a half bad idea

Can't speak for any of the other areas, but the Chch 'scene' is just warming up for the summer right at the moment, I think. Some new route development (easier sport lines) has been going on in the Port Hills, thanks to Mike (ref: thread), and I am sure we will be hearing about some other stuff soon too.

Wow that sounds incredible, Wanaka I presume? So keen to get there at some stage this summer. Just have to try and figure out my summer between, money, cars, available ferry tickets and slack arsed climbers (who own said cars) :? Some time inbetween now and the first nbs.

The way I see it Jack had just become a whipping boy for everything wrong with mojozone, he certainly wasn't offensive, i found him to be good natured and annoying. But it generated good conversation (oh jeez I need to look for conversation on the internet...........)

Question: who goes on trips with a pre planned list of projects? I do but chop and change when I find out whether I like the route or not, and it's usually so ambitious that I never get close to doing it all, but it makes for sterling motivation, I want to hear about what people do in planning for a trip of super sending. I'm super physched for climbing this summer.

No more inane arguments over trivial things? No more irritating 14 year olds babbling smack? No more posts that are totally irrelevant to everyone except the person who posted it?

That is indeed a shame. ;)

Titties fuck bollucks (I have internet Tourette's...) and the title of this thread opened the door for it.

That should keep you going for a while

It's just lucky I care what you think so much. Oh no wait *check watch* I do have time for this. Actually Jack had many fine points, people just felt like putting him down so they could feel like big old men with a beer gut and a mostache or something, at least it encouraged banter, nothing like the inane dribble that has been going on since he last posted. Yes thats right smacktalk has been dead since Nov 24, and nothing interesting has happened since. If you weren't so keen in the inane dribble then why respond? But please don't get me wrong, this thread isn't about Jack, it's about Mojozone and why there hasn't been interesting activity.

But thank you for posting, peoples opinions are what matter and there hasn't been much of that lately.

Was going to post something about it myself a while back, but then thought I'd get burnt for not staying 'on topic' in smack talk.
Weird, I know but that seems to be how it goes at the moment. I'm not saying I'm all for mindless crap that has nothing relevant with anything previously said in a thread, but the way i see it, that is exactly what smack talk is for!
So...I say, keep relevant on every thread apart from in smack talk...But that's just my opinion :D

Random Thought/Thread Of The Day (posted in Smack Talk of course)
The first person to come up with something in the morning just starts a new thread. Anyone can join in if they wish, and 'on topic' is not obligatory.
What do you think?

PS Rowan, sorry if this is going to get me in trouble again....

Jack aint as bad and as pointless as some of you make out, I went 2 school with him for a year so i should know(aswel as climbed with him plenty-which i would not recommend-jj jack)
mean while back on topic if rowen wants to drag mojozone to its grave(no offence rowen) its his choice as its his website.
-back off topic-isnt it sad how we are posting off topic threads in a forum about how the forums are off topic??

Just something 2 think about.

Fair Dinkum, I've just never had a girl agree with me before, well not recently anyway. I mean honestly why wouldn't anybody want to live on cold baked beans for a month, I don't get it, good source of protein you know builds muscle not to fatty either, the perfect food for a climbing trip. Girls just don't seem to get this.

hey 1080 wanaka s busy with the mad influx of swingball players jetskiers and all the holiday folks at that time but theres still heaps of room to play, the crags are fine but some will be hot so best places might be Riverside, garden bar, Alcove,(all in the pm shade) diamond, Sharon stone, Mt Iron, west wanaka, cutting, lost world, phoebe creek (pm) etc..
cheapest camping probly at the doc camp on the clutha river in albertown (15min drive to crags up the valley or 2mins to mt iron) or else glendhu bay campground which can be busy till mid january.
cheers

Btw, there is a fine line between 'stimulating conversation' and a flame fest. Personally, I will partake in either, if it is interesting to me. Maybe most of the people here just have different interests than you do (I know they have different interests than I do, for the most part).

Now I see why you are comitting virtual suicide......outsmarted by a 14yr old with an IQ of 155
The response from the online virtual suicide hotline:
Remember, an IQ is only the potential ability to learn. It doesn't mean that you actually have learned anything. Take Jack for example, we just assume his excuse is his age. Or myself (yes, my IQ is supposedly over 155), I like to think that I have simply killed off many of the brain cells that actually knew something with alcohol.

look at what hapens when jack starts writing stuff on the zone again- as an upside people start writing stuff and the zone rises from its grave...

as a down side people start comitting virtual sucicide... (cough cough shuffle shuffle) to supposedly go climbing. if your posting shit(revalution-it begins) on the zone u aint climbing. btw 1080 you write ALOT of things on the zone.
