Are there any Indoor climbing walls near Queenstown that offer good bouldering facilities?

Good day,

I'm coming out to Queenstown in July to learn to snowboard but i want to continue bouldering. I see that there are a few indoor walls there but they don't have very good websites. Can anyone tell me:

a) If they have campus boards

b) If they have much bouldering

c) Are the problems changed regularly

Also I'd be interested to know whether or not there's good outdoor bouldering near Queenstown.

Thanks in advance.

The Queenstown event centre has a wall it is a led top rope wall and is changed occasionally.

N0 campusing, or bouldering.

You get discounts if you are a club member(card needed)queenstownclimbing.co.nz

There is Awesome bouldering outdoors at Jardines But it will be too dark in the evenings, great during the day. No guides allowed to be printed but Open access except in Spring. You will meet Locals there.

Much of the Lower sport climbing is still dry at winter, on the north facing walls you get sun.

There is also Ice and mixed climbing in The mountains

Thanks Sally and Cragrat.

That's a pain, I wanted to maintain strength so I could hit the ground at Castle Hills running in spring. Oh well. I may resort to climbing by headlamp or even leading:( (I don't have anything against leading, i'm just rubbish at it).

I appreciate the info, that explains why I can't find any guides too.

You aren't allowed to boulder at night by torch...unfortunately the Farmer will come over to see who is prowling around his fields.

Go hard on the weekendsand go to the wall once mid week you'll keep fit

As spring approaches the days are longer and you can climb after work.
