Anyone near Maungaturoto/Whangerei

Hi I'm over in NZ for a few weeks from the UK visiting my folks and would really like to get some climbing in. I've bought a harness, shoes and 60m rope but don't have a rack of gear. I've not got much experience placing gear but am happy lead climbing.

If there's anyone about that's up for some climbs and would be happy to help me place gear or knows of bolted routes round here that fancies a climb let me know - would love to climb in the sun. Glasgow's got a little too much rain!
