Activating memberships

It took 3 months and a bunch of attempts to get my logon activited. I eventually contacted admin on facebook and got a reply.
I was recently contacted by another member (via a friends PM) asking how i got it sorted.
Can i suggest that something needs to be done about this such as adding additional admin accesses or automating activation of accounts or something. otherwise the forum will die without new contributors.

I have been told by at least a half dozen people over the past year or two that they have tried to set up accounts with no success. I used to tell people looking to find partners in NZ to post here, needless to say I gave that up a while ago :evil:
As much as I like shooting-the-shit with all the regulars, a bit of new blood would be nice (and a Qdog said, the only way to keep this site alive ultimately).
I'll throw my hat in the ring, if a volunteer is needed!
