X Marks The Spot Video

It's bigger than a very very big thing, it's the X Marks The Spot video. Produced by the Tauranga lads, we have some fine footage capturing the days bouldering events at Waiheke Island. X Marks the Spot was a bouldering competition held on Waiheke Island on the 12th Of February. 25 + good keen boulderers set out for an adventure to Stoney Batter, and the far eastern side of island....Sitting in the days sun, the entrants were baked, but that didn't deter them from sending. A spree by Richard Morgan saw him take out #1, following in his tracks was Simon LeCouteur, hot on simons sticky boots was a Waiheke regular Regan McCafferey. Many entrants received spot prizes from Marvelox, and the number 1 prive a Robosapien robot found it's way into the hands of Mr Morgan.

A lot of people had never been to Waiheke before, given the smiles and trashed fingers everyone was in agreement about the Quality Heke Experience that Stoney Batter has to offer. As scenic as any climbing spot in New Zealand (if not one of the most), a few climbing widows accompanied their partners for a day in the sun.
