Sunburn and smiles at Waitomo

Well the 'Strip' at waitomo went off on Sat with 9 keen boulderers turning up at the crag, several new problems were put up and dozens of existing probs were tackled, after climbing for about 5 hours most were tired, sunburnt and had pink fingertips, everybody vowed to return to send their new projects, the day finished with Rich sending a 6 metre highball which left the rest of us shaking our heads.

Such was the reponse, there might be a mission to Frog Pond in 2 weeks time to check out the other crag on the Stubbs farm, there's a few bolted routes (3x14s, 17,19,21,25 I think) and a whole lot of unclimbed boulders, so keep your eyes peeled...
