Stupidity at Smiths...

"Word has it that Len Smith has found evidence of climbers drinking beer in the Mr & Mrs American Forks area at Smiths Rocks.
I can only imagine it was visiting climbers because locals surely wouldn't be so stupid as to jeopardise access to one of the most popular crags in the area.
For the record: the Smiths have been incredibly generous in allowing - even encouraging - climbers to come onto their farm. They don't ask for anything in return - just that you sign in, you leave gates as you find them and you don't bring alcohol onto their property.
If you see anyone drinking at Smiths, do us all a favour and explain to them that they are risking consigning nearly 15 years of crag development to the sh^theap.
And if you find that some morons have not only been so disrespectful as to drink at the crag but have also left the bottles and bottle caps behind - please pick up after them."
