"At the beginning of March, my girlfriend and I had three rucsacs, including both our climbing racks, rope, and some personal belongings stolen from our campervan at Sandfly Bay, Otago Penisula. The police and everyone have been very helpful - notice in the local paper, outdoor shops keeping an eye open for second hand gear etc etc. We bought a basic rack and continued to Wanaka clippety clip clip. But since the NZ climbing scene is pretty small and climbing gear is hard to sell on to a non-climber, we still hope that some of our stuff may turn up..."
