Realization Repition - Who is that Guy???
Crag Rat beat Regan to submitting the news but has included some interesting detail about Sylvain Millet who has made the first repeat of Chris Sharma's Realization, 9a+? (36), at Céüse. Sylvain has been working the route for many years.
So, who is this guy?
Sylvain is 26 years old, a very nice guy and from Gap, France. Céüse is very much his home crag and he's climbed virtually every route there. He's an excellent competition climber, #6 in the ICC world ranking. He is also a junior worldchampion. Last year he was 3rd in the World Cup in Edinburgh.To my knowledge this is the first repeat of any route harder than 9a. Not that Realization has been offically graded by either Chris or Sylvain....
