NBS - Round 2 - Baring Head

Saturday morning dawned wet and windy thanks to a howling southerly. Not be perturbed 73 hardy climbers made there way to Baring Head and were dutifully rewarded with fine weather by mid morning allowing the comp to get going just after 11. Shame on all those climbers who stayed in bed and were outdone by the weather! Former Wellington strong men Buff Dan and Peter Allison cranked hard, but not quite enough to stop Jan the Czech from taking out the second comp in the Series. Terezka again won the female expert division. Local strong kids Bob Keegan and Georgia Orme won the junior male and female expert divisions respectively. Thanks to everyone who turned up and helped out. Keep an eye on the nbs web up-dates and results page over the next few days to see who’s moving into the lead.
