Dave has since left to spend his summer in the States mostly in California and just recently sent a few problems at Buttermilks in Bishop, including a v7/v8 and a v6, saying "Granite can be real sharp and Bi##hed my fingers something wicked".

Meanwhile Dave "Action Man" Addison sent his first v6, sending Scott's 6 at Froggatt Edge about 2 weeks ago, apparently he's still basking in the afterglow and nobody's seen him on the rock since.

Tues last week down at Waitomo 'Air strip' I added a sit start to problem No 6 at the Totem area, (for those of you with John Newbey's guide) I don't think it's been done yet, correct me if I'm wrong, I think it's about v4, basically it involves a cool heal hook, a side pull and a sloper.

On Sunday again at the 'Strip' we added a new V4 called 'Done and onto the next one' it's now 6.1 in the guide at the Greek gods area, it's a SS on the thin arete, Bevan getting F A.

Bevan " I climb better without pressure" Jenkins finally got his act together tonight and grabbed the 2nd ascent of the Sit start to Mossy(V8) at Froggatt Edge, after many weeks of getting all the way thru and falling off at the last pocket and enduring plenty of ribbing for his consistency, he finally sent Steve Conn's until now unrepeated problem.

Thats all for now, keep crankin!
