Andrews trip to Mangaraho
Alrighty - some more climbing pictures!. AndrewM sent me photos of a trip up to Mangaraho.
"Having not realized that the much anticipated trip to Castle Rock was in progress (got my calendar mixed up sorry Rowan), we headed north to seek out some sunny skies and warm, dry rock...."Saturday dawned beautifully... apparently... My eyes opened at about 10am [:-)] so a quick brekkie and onto the bikes and off up to Ngahere Drive we headed. A very rewarding afternoon's climbing was had...with Chris sussing the bouldering problem from B.O.G. to Creaky Tree (I think he's been training on the sly...) and Oscar turned up in time to take some photos of us on Madness and Mayhem. My mind was on the next day's trip to Mangaraho and I was feeling extremely "In the Zone". Unfortunately, the film was being conserved for the Mangaraho trip so we only got a few photos...and the next day was cut short by my 10 metre winger off Full Moon Fantasy... an objective lesson on why we dont miss bolts...especially when the next one is somewhat exposed.
The physio reckons I'll be climbing agin in about 6 weeks but I think I'm already going CRaZy!! *rrrrrggghhh*!
